Incorporating photos and Information from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways site

On the shores of Lake Rosebery and magnificent views of Mount Murchison, Tullah was once a mining town, however Tullah was eventually redeveloped as a hydroelectricity scheme village. Located on the shores of Lake Rosebery, at the base of Mt Farrell, Tullah is a peaceful village with a calm atmosphere and was once only accessible by foot, horse or the Mt Farrell tramway, which is now forms the Wee Georgie Wood Railway tourist tramway.
