General Information:

B74 is a dual carriageway arterial route on the New South Wales Central Coast.

Running East to West, the route services mostly residential and commercial zones and links the Central Coast Hwy (A49) with the Pacific Mwy (M1)

Multiplexes along the route include:

• Tourist Drive 2, for 300 km, at Tumbi Umbi

History:

• December 2014: Work commences on intersection upgrade of Wyong Rd, Mingara Dr and Tumbi Rd. Work included replacing roundabouts with traffic signals. 2 Work also commenced on replacing the existing roundabout with traffic lights at the corner of Wyong Road, Enterprise Drive and Chittaway Road. 3
• September 2015: Commencement of intersection upgrade of Wyong Road, Enterprise Drive and Chittaway Road at Chittaway Bay. The project included replacing the roundabout with traffic lights, building double right and left turn lanes from Enterprise Drive into Wyong Road, double right turn lanes from Wyong Road into Enterprise Drive and from Chittaway Road into Wyong Road and a left turn lane from Wyong Road into Enterprise Drive. Also included in the project was bus priority lanes at the traffic lights in both directions on Wyong Road and a shared pedestrian cycleway. 4
• January 2016: Commencement of Pacific Highway and Wyong Road intersection upgrade at Tuggerah. The upgrade involved replacing the existing roundabout with traffic lights and building an additional bridge on Wyong Road for eastbound traffic. 5
• October 2016: Completion of upgrate at Wyong Rd, Enterprise Dr and Chittaway Rd. 4
• November 2016: Work started onpedestrian improvements on Wyong Road between The Entrance Road and Kathleen White Crescent. Work included installing mid-block traffic lights and building connecting footpaths, kerb and gutter and ramps. 6
• November 2017: Completion of intersection upgrade of Wyong Road, Enterprise Drive and Chittaway Road at Chittaway Bay. 7
