Route Numbering:

General Information:

Originally named Well Station Road, Well Station Drive has been transformed from a rural back road into a suburb arterial route, servicing residential, rural and industrial areas in Gungahlin. A small section of the old route survives at Franklin near Gungahlin Drive, and another has been renamed Old Well Station Road and travels past Exhibition Park in Canberra, linking the Federal Highway with the industrial suburb of Mitchell. The road is named after the former farming property it once passed through.
