Victoria: Murrayville

Murrayville is a small town in the Mallee region in Victoria's west. Murrayville was settled in 1910 and named after the Premier of Victoria at the time, John Murray.

The town's main industry is cereal crops, sheep and cattle, other industries are potato farming and other small crops.

Tourism is also becoming a popular reason to visit the town, with widlfowers, historic buildings and the Murray Sunset National Park and the Big Desert State Forest nearby.
