South Australia: Woodside
Incorporating photos and Information from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways site

Woodside is a small town in the Adelaide Hills and was settled by Europeans in the mid 1800s. The first European explorers through the Woodside district were Dr George Imlay and John Hill in January 1838.

A quiet rural township , there are several pubs, galleries, antique and second-hand shops and cafés, as well as nearby cellar doors. A country market is held each month and there's a number of small food manufacturers located in the town.
