Queensland: Yarraman
Incorporating photos and Information from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways site

Yarraman, a small town located at the junction of the D'Aguilar and New England Highways, lies in the centre of the thriving South Burnett region of Queensland. Established in the 1890's, the town is set on the side of rich valley producing timber, beef, dairy goods and various grains and nuts and is an important stop for motorists due to its key geographical position. In the area are the Heritage House (museum featuring various arts / crafts - located within Yarraman), the Tarong Power Station (15 km northwest), the Maidenwell National Park (18 km west) with various forestry walks and local drives which offer some spectacular scenery.
