Queensland: Wandoan
Incorporating photos and Information from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways site

Wandoan is a town and locality in the Western Downs Region of Queensland and is the centre for the local cattle industry, the area is also known wheat and sorgum growing plus some mining for gas and coal. The town was settled by Europeans in the mid 1800s.

Originally named Juandah, the town was named Wandoan in 1926 to avoid confusion with Jundah near Longreach.
