New South Wales: Terrigal
Incorporating photos and Information from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways site

Located on the New South Wales Central Coast, Terrigal overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Popular with tourists, the area offers many attractions including gorgeous beaches and waterways, access to bushland reserves and The Skillion, a rocky promontory overlooking the town and surrounding waters.

European settlement in Terrigal was initially by John Gray, who called his property Tarrygal, after the indigenous place name, meaning 'place of little birds'.
