General Information:

One of the shortest routes in the state, B36 links National Highway 1 to the Tasman Bridge and Tasman Highway. It bypasses the Royal Botanic Gardens and lies between it and the River Derwent, near Hobart.

The route is undivided single carriageway, with 1 lane in each direction, but feature grade separated interchanges at both ends.
