General Information:

SR124 is a major arterial route in the Newcastle area, in the New South Wales Hunter Valley. It's mostly dual carriageway arterial road standard. The route services industrial and waterfront areas in the Newcastle and Mayfield area.

State Route 124 is duplexed with State Route 121 along Industrial Drive, Mayfield for about 1.5 kilometres.
