Tasmania: Wynyard
Incorporating photos and Information from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways site

Wynyard is an rural service town at the mouth of the Inglis River. It is located between Devonport and Stanley on Tasmania's northern coastline. Wynyard is set amongst rolling hills, fields of opium, onions and potatoes, tulips, dairy and sheep grazing and beef cattle. Prior to European settlement in 1841, the area had been inhabited by members of the Tommeginne Aboriginal language group.

A number of attractions are located nearby, including Fossil Bluff Conservation Area, Table Cape Lookout and Lighthouse, Doctors Rocks Conservation Area and the Wonders of Wynyard visitor information centre hosts a substantial classic vintage cars collection.
