Incorporating photos and Information from Michael Greenslade's former Australian Towns, Cities and Highways site

Bute, a small northern Yorke Peninsula town is the centre for the local sheep and grain industries and lies at in important rural road junction. The town, while quite small is well looked after with plenty of surrounding parkland as the town has a typical Col Light town plan. Just north of the town is the Bute Tannery which provides a range of skins, belts, bags and assorted other personal items.
