General Information:

C481 is an arterial route connecting the town of Traralgon, which is a major regional centre within the Latrobe Valley, to several rural residential townships. The region is maily used for agriculture, such as food production, and has a variety of industries, including horticulture, forestry, paper production, quarrying, boutique wine, retail trade, manufacturing, open cut coal mining, energy production and tourism. The route provides access to the tourist town of Walhalla, Baw Baw National Park and the Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort and ski fields. 2
